Trash or treasure?

I have always loved the expression: One man's trash is another man's treasure. I love finding treasures among tossed-away items. I love finding new purpose for the old or old-fashioned. I especially love discovering the beauty within, or beneath, beauty missed by the casual observer.

Perhaps this is why the waste-to-energy plant at Spittelau, a treasure of unashamed beauty, gets its very own post. Well done, Vienna.
